With the advancement of the shift from coal to gas, coal-fired boilers cannot be abandoned. Currently, the development zone offers two options for gas supply: either piped natural gas or LNG mobile units to be installed on site. For 3.5 million BTU heat transfer oil boilers, which gas supply option is safer, more environmentally friendly, and more cost-effective? I look forward to your guidance.
Pipelines are still better. LNG requires a vaporizer, which is quite large, and the cylinders need to be replaced frequently – it’s troublesome. Since we are going to switch to natural gas, we might as well install an air preheater as well, to use the flue gas to preheat the combustion air. We should choose a burner that can heat the air, as this will increase the thermal efficiency by 10%, resulting in significant cost savings over the course of a year.
