Data on pressure vessels welded on-site

For pressure vessels or atmospheric vessels that are welded on-site, does the contractor need to provide a complete set of documents, similar to those that come with the equipment supplied by the vessel manufacturer?
A complete set of documents must be provided. In addition to all the documents required for manufacturing at the factory, pressure vessels assembled on-site also need to come with documents related to equipment installation.

If it is a pressure vessel, relevant documents must be provided. You belong to the on-site team; according to Chapter 6 of the Major Pressure Vessels Regulations, pressure vessels welded on-site by this team require supervised inspection. (6.1.2.1). So it’s definitely not possible to conduct inspections without any information on the original components. For specific requirements, refer to those specified in the major capacity regulations.
