If it is changed to gas, the renovation costs are relatively high; the auxiliary equipment will no longer be useful. What other fuels can it be changed to?
There’s basically no choice; biomass boilers are name only – they have problems with fuel supply and calorific value.
Biomass has significant limitations; raw materials represent a major issue. Is biomass considered a clean energy source?
Biomass ash contains a high amount of alkali metals; it is sticky and has a low melting point, requiring significant modifications to the heating surfaces.
These are the only two options; there are no other choices
