Do oil and gas tanks fall under the category of simple pressure vessels? Some manufacturers classify them as category 1 vessels, while others consider them simple pressure vessels. Please analyze and determine how they should actually be classified
Those that are produced in batches are suitable to be classified as simple pressure vessels, and they require type testing. If only a few units are to be produced, it is more appropriate to design and manufacture them as ordinary pressure vessels.
