Can the boiler tube sheet have tube holes drilled first and then pressed? Would doing this be a new process?
Hole deformation! After pressing, the holes still need to be further processed.
Personal opinion: As long as it’s done well, it doesn’t matter how it’s done; the key is whether it meets the design and assembly requirements. As for whether it counts as a new manufacturing process, that depends on the extent of the differences and the results achieved by using this method
