Urgently need to know what welding material should be used for TA2+Q345R composite plates?
Titanium can only be welded to other titanium materials; it cannot be welded to other types of materials. For welding TA2 together, ERTA2ELI is used.
TA2 can be TIG welded to Q345R; what kind of brazing method should be used? It seems quite complicated – is there a better way?

GTAW silver welding: Titanium and steel can be welded together using pure silver wire in the GTAW welding method, but the resulting joint does not have much strength; it is generally used only for basic sealing purposes.
Appendix G of JB/T4745-2002, clause G.1.2 stipulates that \"in addition to being able to be welded together with metals such as Zr, Nb, Ta, and Hf, titanium cannot be welded with other metals.\" When connection to other metals is required, bonding, brazing, explosive welding, and bolted connections can be used. ”

I work with pressure vessels; silver welding probably won’t work, even though the pressure isn’t high, the equipment is classified as Category II.
