What is the convection section of a heating furnace? Does it belong to the equipment? What is its purpose? If there are pictures, just follow them! First, thanks to all the experts out there!
Heating furnaces are generally divided into a radiation section, a convection section, and a flue section; these three sections form a single unit. The radiation section is generally located in the combustion area of the boiler, where the flue gas temperature is high, and radiation heat transfer plays a dominant role ； The convection section is generally located in the flue area, where the flue gas temperature is significantly lower than that in the radiation section; heat transfer in this section is primarily conducted through convection. The convection section can be used for material preheating or generating steam as a by-product.
