The filter for water removal can be opened to allow regular drainage; if your dryer is in good condition, ensure it is functioning properly to prevent water from accumulating inside the surface air tank
Manufacturers usually equip devices with automatic oil and water discharge valves, which operate on the same principle as steam traps; in addition, manual valves are used in parallel for periodic inspection and discharge. Air compressor dryers typically come equipped with additional automatic, timed liquid discharge valves as well. Some production staff also leave the drain valve slightly open to maintain a continuous discharge rate, thereby preventing the accumulation of oil and water and reducing the workload associated with periodic discharges; however, it is necessary to regularly check the effectiveness of this discharge process.
