The new standard for forgings is the 2017 version, with an approval date of March 28, 2017, and an implementation date of August 1, 2017. May I ask whether the forging standards specified in the drawings issued on August 1 follow the 2017 version?

Well, the standardization reviewers in our factory have proposed implementing it on the 8th and putting it into effect on the 19th, and I’m a bit confused about this
Is there a transition period for the latest standards regarding forgings? There is a two-month transition period for the latest welding materials. Does that mean that as of August 1st, the standards for forgings must be implemented strictly?
Contracts signed before August 1 can follow the old standards, but to avoid disputes during inspections, we have decided to adopt the new standards directly
