Contents of the quality assurance materials for the pressure-bearing components of pressure vessels
Thread Content
We have recently started working on quality assurance. Due to an aging workforce, we want to establish a standard procedure for the contents of the quality assurance documents related to the pressure-bearing components of pressure vessels. A few points have been listed; I hope the experts in this area will discuss them. I: The certificates required for the tube sheet are as follows: 1. Quality certificate for pressure-bearing components (forgings); 2. Quality certificate for the base material of the forgings; 3. Heat treatment inspection report for the forgings; 4. Mechanical property test report; 5. Ultrasonic testing report for the forgings; 6. Re-inspection report for raw materials.II: For the reduced-diameter sections (eccentric or conical shapes), the following certificates are required: 1. Quality certificate for pressure-bearing components; 2. Quality certificate for the base material; 3. Re-inspection report for raw materials; 4. Non-destructive testing report; 5. Certificate of material quality and warranty for welding materials; 6. Inspection certificate.
III: The certificates required for the end caps are as follows: 1. Product qualification certificate; 2. Component data report; 3. Quality certificate for the material; 4. Physical and chemical analysis report; 5. Heat treatment report; 6. Inspection certificate. End caps with seams also require a certificate of welding material quality and a non-destructive testing report.
IV: The certificates required for manholes are as follows: 1. Product qualification certificate for manholes; 2. Inspection report on the appearance and geometric dimensions of the product; 3. Quality certificate for the base material; 4. Product qualification certificate for the forgings; 5. Physical and chemical analysis report for the forgings; 6. Certificate of material quality and warranty for welding materials; 7. Inspection certificate for the manhole segments.
V: The certificates required for flanges are as follows: 1. Product qualification certificate for forgings; 2. Quality certificate for the base material; 3. Physical and chemical analysis report; 4. Refer to item 1 for forgings.
VI: The certificates required for steel (tubes, plates) are as follows: 1. Warranty certificate for steel, tubes, and plates (with a QR code or barcode); 2. Official stamp from the manufacturer (supplier) along with the signature or seal of the responsible person.
VII: The certificates required for welding materials are as follows: 1. Warranty certificate for welding materials; 2. Official stamp from the welding material manufacturer (supplier) along with the signature or seal of the responsible person.
Note: All of the above-mentioned certificates must bear the official stamp of the manufacturing unit. Please advise!

As for the physical and chemical testing reports, it is not strictly necessary to provide them; they are only needed for reference
