I heard that it’s no longer necessary to fill the interior of cryogenic pressure vessels with perlite, which was quite troublesome; now a layer of thermal insulation coating is applied instead. I wonder what this amazing coating is Which sea knows? Could you tell us? Thank you!
I’ve never heard of it; usually, perlite, insulation foam, and the like are used. I really haven’t seen any case where only paint is applied.
