The ears of the glass-lined reactor are too small to reach the steel beams used for installation; can they be cut off and larger ears welded on instead?
It seems to be a jacketed design; since no work will be done on the glass-lined part, there should be no problem.
The correct approach is to add a secondary beam, not replace the bracket
Basis: According to Article 5.2.1 of TSG 21-2016, Regulations on Safety Technical Inspection of Fixed Pressure Vessels, it is permissible to replace the supports.
The method on the third floor is the best choice.
Due to welding stress, the internal glass can crack.
Just make a bench cover and put it on that’s it: lol it’s the secondary beam mentioned on the 3rd floor; weld a frame using channel steel, anchor its lower end to the foundation, and then place the container inside it and secure it by fixing it to the ear seats.
The correct approach is to add secondary beams; replacing the brackets is not supported, but using Bagua beams is an option
