Dear Haihao friends, we currently have a horizontal device at normal temperature and pressure, with a volume of 30 cubic meters. The device’s supports do not have bolt holes; it is placed on embedded steel plates. May I ask how the fixing ends should be welded – should it be fully welded? Does the sliding end need to be welded? If so, how should it be welded? Thank you all.
Weld the fixed end, but do not weld the sliding end! But without bolts, how is the calculation done in case of seismic overturning?

Construct in accordance with the design requirements, or the developer will prepare the plan. If it is done by oneself, it is recommended to use bolts for anchoring. It’s really hard to say what will happen to this thing in an earthquake. . . . . .

Seismic calculations should be carried out, and then a decision should be made on how to proceed.
You can refer to JB/T4712.1-2007; Appendix C contains diagrams of the foundation pads for sliding supports, which can serve as a reference.
It seems pretty strange – why are there no foundation bolts? How is the container to be secured? Is it perhaps a steel structural frame that serves as a support for the equipment?
Is it possible to add bolt holes on the sliding end site?
It seems that there is no installation of anchor bolts at the moment.
