How is the thickness of the post-weld heat treatment for welding forged pipes to pressure vessel shells determined? GB/T30583-2014 only addresses welded pipes and does not cover forged pipes. As shown in the figure below, it is a forged pipe for manholes; with a cylinder thickness of 16 mm, how can the heat treatment thickness be determined? Should the thickness of the forged pipe neck, the thickness of the cylinder body, and the thickness of the fillet weld be the largest among them? Solve! !

If it is of the inserted type, the heat treatment thickness is the thickness of the cylinder; if it is of the seated type, the heat treatment thickness is the thickness of the forged pipe neck.
