Hai Youhao: Our company has a 10,000L reactor in which there are several instances of enamel cracking. What is the typical pricing structure for repairing enamel-lined reactors, and what is the approximate cost? Thank you!

For critical areas, it is necessary to return them to the factory for rescaling; for less critical areas and those with low usage requirements, repair adhesive can be used.
For enamel repair kits, when carrying out repairs oneself, the duration of effectiveness varies depending on the usage conditions. In my home, the temperature rises to around 50 degrees, and there are strong acids and alkalis present; the repair works fall off after about 2 months, requiring reparation.
How long has it been in use? Where did the porcelain crack? What is the size of the area where the porcelain has cracked? Has anyone analyzed the reasons behind the ceramic cracking?
The cost of repairing enamel reactors is not low; it’s the same in the repair industry. The cost is estimated based on the area to be repaired; for partial repairs, repair compounds can be used, or tetrafluoropolymer sheets can be applied for repair. If the area is too large, it becomes uneconomical.
