Inside the cylinder, the pressure inside and outside the elbow is the same
Looking at the specifications, it’s 250 or above on the device； Above 50 on the pipeline
This elbow is located on the inside of the equipment; there is no pressure difference between the inside and outside, so it is not a pressure-bearing component
Reaching deep into the shell, it is open and serves only as a guide for manufacturing processes; it does not bear any pressure.
The part inside the inner wall is all non-compressed, as the pressure inside and outside this part is equal.
According to PED regulations, only vessels with a pressure greater than 0.5 bar are considered pressure vessels. In such an open pipe, even when fluid is flowing through it, the pressure does not become very high; it generally does not exceed 0.5 bar. Unless the end of the pipe is blocked, causing an increase in internal pressure.

Components that are subjected to pressure are considered pressure-bearing elements; those with a diameter of less than DN250 mm are not considered major pressure-bearing elements.
