This is a new 90-ton boiler; these are the data from a few days ago. Dear seniors, could you help check whether the steam-to-water ratio is normal?
Is the steam production too high, or is the water usage too low?
The difference between water and steam production is wastewater. The waste discharge rate is around 1%, which is quite okay.
The water vapor ratio is 1.01, which is on the low side.
This depends on the blowdown rate specified during the boiler’s design. According to material balance, 1 ton of aquatic products produces 1 ton of steam; however, in reality, 1 ton of aquatic products does not yield 1 ton of high-quality steam, as losses due to waste discharge must be taken into account.
