Furnace design: The furnace is structured for normal pressure operation, with vents at the top to allow air to enter; the boiler operates under normal pressure and is thus free from explosion risks ； The boiler body utilizes a computer-optimized simulation program to fully optimize its dimensions, resulting in a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing shape. The CLHS vertical boiler adopts a bottom-mounted burner combustion method; the fuel burns under slight positive pressure within the furnace chamber. Flow restrictors are installed in the flue pipes to slow down the exhaust velocity of smoke, thereby enhancing heat exchange and ensuring that the heat generated by fuel combustion is used to heat the boiler water to the greatest extent possible, thus improving the boiler’s thermal efficiency ； The CWNS horizontal boiler features a fully wet-back three-pass structure, which provides a long flue gas flow path and helps to reduce the exhaust temperature. The full-rippled furnace chamber induces intense turbulence in the flames, thereby significantly increasing the heat transfer coefficient and effectively preventing a reduction in the equipment’s service life due to thermal expansion and contraction of metals ； Large-diameter smoke pipes and large-opening bridge areas result in a thin scale layer on the boiler over an equal period of time, making it easier to clean. The denitration renovation of the Weihai boilers involves a tight schedule and heavy workload. Moreover, the work sites are cramped, with many tasks involving lifting and working in confined spaces. To ensure safety, the Thermal Power Operation Department adheres strictly to HSE guidelines and enforces strict on-site supervision. They have established a safety management system that implements a \"three-tier supervision\" mechanism involving dedicated supervisors, department-level officials who are present on site, and leadership team members who conduct inspections, using a \"person-to-person\" approach to closely monitor operations at the site. All workers must hold valid certificates to work, proper safety measures must be in place, and they should conduct an investigation before entering the relevant areas. Together, since the lifting operation radius reaches 100 meters, the area affects the desulfurization tower, the fuel control room, and four roads. Therefore, during the lifting operations of small items, the Operations Department sets up warning ropes at the relevant key intersections and assigns dedicated personnel to supervise, to prevent unauthorized persons from entering. When lifting heavy objects, a safety zone should be designated in advance according to the lifting path; this zone must be completely isolated, with dedicated personnel monitoring it along the way.
