When the design temperature of pressure vessels made of austenitic stainless steel is below -196 degrees, they are considered low-temperature vessels; however, GB150 does not specify any requirements regarding the design, manufacturing, and inspection of low-temperature vessels made of austenitic stainless steel. Appendix E of GB150.3 states that for the design of low-temperature pressure vessels made of austenitic steel, relevant codes and standards shall be followed. It is not clear here which standard or specification is used; apart from HG/T20585-2011, are there any other standards or specifications that have provisions in this regard?

In principle, when temperatures are below -196 degrees, stainless steel is no longer used; instead, aluminum is employed. The aluminum equipment specifications can be referred to.
