How does everyone calculate the range for opening reinforcement? There is now a DN450 connection flange mounted on a tube sheet with a diameter of 900; how should the minimum length of the tube sheet cylinder be determined?
The length must be at least twice the inner diameter of the opening.
The connection flange for DN450 is located on a tube sheet with a diameter of 900; can the stress calculation for this opening be approved?
For DN450 fittings, what is the inner diameter? Is the opening rate over 50%? If the reinforcement length is more than twice the required value, use twice that amount; if it is less than twice, use the actual reinforcement length – as long as the calculated value is sufficient
