There has been constant talk about abolishing the requirement for a separate container design qualification, and about manufacturers needing to have design capabilities in order to meet ASME standards; it seems there’s no news on this topic lately!
Everyone is busy with institutional mergers; even the General Administration for Quality Supervision has been merged into the Administration for Market Regulation. It is said that the Standardization Committee for Cooking Pots is also undergoing integration and restructuring. I guess once this busy period is over and I have the time and energy, I’ll deal with all these various changes
