I would like to ask why a brushing sound is produced when the steam flow rate increases in a steam pipeline
The pressure increases, resulting in greater impact on the pipes
The sound is much quieter when the valve is fully open
A pressure drop occurs when the pipeline valves are not fully open, resulting in a rapid instantaneous steam flow velocity at the valve location. When the valve is fully open, the pressure drop in the pipeline is low and the flow rate is slow.
