Today, I heard one of the welders at the factory mention the submerged arc welding automatic welding cart, saying that it’s very convenient for welding longitudinal seams. I was wondering what the advantages and disadvantages of this machine are? What is the difference from an inverter automatic submerged arc welder? Thank you all first!
Advantages: The operation is relatively simple; it mainly involves using a welding trolley on guides to weld the longitudinal joints of flat plates, and the workpieces can be placed on the ground to start welding immediately. Disadvantages: It can only weld longitudinal seams on flat surfaces; furthermore, the length of each weld and the straightness deviation are affected by the guide rails. Submerged arc welding is more complex, but it can be used for almost all flat welding positions, as well as for circumferential and longitudinal seams, and on both inner and outer surfaces. You can think of the trolley as the movement of the crossbeam in a submerged arc automatic welding machine; in fact, most submerged arc automatic welding machines are equipped with a welding trolley
The submerged arc welding automatic welding trolley is an operating tool. . . Install the welding machine’s head on this so it can move around. .
