The basis for this edit is the TSG N0001-2017 Regulations on Safety Technical Inspection of Special Motor Vehicles Used within Plants: 3.1 Basic Requirements; 3.1.1 Basic requirements for the user unit: The user unit must comply with the Provisions on the Management of the Use of Special Equipment, and must also meet the following requirements: (1) Obtain a business license; (2) Be responsible for the safety of forklifts used within its area ; (3) Select a material handling vehicle that meets the requirements of its intended use and operating environment, and be responsible for the choice of such vehicle ; (4) Before the site vehicle is put into use for the first time, apply to the special equipment inspection agency located in the area where the property owner is based for a preliminary inspection ; (5) One month before the expiration of the inspection validity period, submit an application for a regular inspection to the special equipment inspection agency, undergo the inspection, and provide all necessary cooperation related to the regular inspection ; (6) During the use of mobile work vehicles, regular inspections shall be carried out at the location where they are used or at the location where they are registered for use ; (7) Establish safety operating procedures, which should include requirements such as wearing seat belts, reducing speed when turning, reducing speed when going downhill, and setting speed limits based on height ; (8) Forklift operators must obtain the corresponding \"Special Equipment Operator Certificate\" and work with such a certificate ; (9) Carry out daily maintenance, self-inspections, and comprehensive inspections of the site vehicles in accordance with the requirements of these procedures ; (10) When using a forklift and replacing the forks with other attachments, the user is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the equipment ; (11) Fulfill other obligations stipulated by laws and regulations.
Our company requires the use of seat belts and safety helmets; forklifts tipping over can easily cause injuries to drivers, and there are countless such examples.
