Dear marine industry professionals, which manufacturers and brands of valves does your company use? Twelve stainless steel gate valves were purchased this time; two of them had internal leakage, and 5 of them had sand holes in their casings. The quality rate is really terrible. . . Most valves of particularly poor quality are refurbished ones. So these days, as long as it’s a reputable company that produces them properly, the quality is usually acceptable; the only concern is that they might be manufacturing fake products for you

According to legend, most of the valve factories are now acquired by or have shareholders from Fujian; you can check it out if you don’t believe it
Has the quality of the acquired shares also changed?
It’s just a rumor; there might be some exaggerations to it. Last year, nearly 10,000 valves were ordered for new projects, and many manufacturers bid on these orders. Some of them, in an attempt to engage in unfair competition, told us things that were hard to verify as true or false. But such cases did occur. Later, I purchased valves several times on my own, and the quality of each batch was inconsistent. Some high-quality 316L valves turned out to have poor quality as well, and they started leaking after just 1-2 months of use, becoming unusable
Should the goods be obtained directly from Shanghai, or from distributors? Some distributors also purchase products externally and have them branded under their own name
