Please describe whether pressure is likely to be high enough to require a safety valve, and if so, what is the source of that information! Also, is the setting of the safety valve for the system or for the container! Thank you

1. The standards state that safety valves should be installed in cases where overpressure may occur, as the absence of such valves can lead to accidents such as explosions when overpressure happens; 2. It doesn’t state that all pressure vessels are required ; For example, in a negative-pressure container, there is no need to install a safety valve ;
It is certain that the setting of the safety valve is based on the container; I’m not sure though

A considerable proportion of the devices in this category do not have safety valves; some use rupture disks, some may be located within pipelines or systems, and some have none at all. This is especially true for those with low pressure. It is quite common for devices outside this category not to be equipped with safety valves
Please take a look at the passage in the attached document from the \"Solid Content Regulations\"; this should help you understand
If the system has containers, it may not be necessary to have them; our designed high-pressure ammonia and methanol production equipment does not have any such containers.
