Over the past two years, I’ve received requests for quotes regarding the drawings of equipment used in MVR evaporation systems. Upon examining those drawings, I found that the wall thicknesses of the heat exchanger components as well as those of the tube sheets were very low, which clearly does not comply with the requirements specified in GB/T151. In some cases, the wall thicknesses were so thin that channel steel was used to create external reinforcement rings. Could anyone help me understand how the wall thicknesses specified in their drawings are determined?
