Problems with skid-mounted design

I work in equipment design. Recently, my company has asked me to carry out process calculations, process design, and skid-mounted design – it’s like not knowing where to start. I’m seeking advice from fellow professionals: are there any recommended materials or books on this topic? Thank you so much!
In fact, there are no specific standard specifications available for skid-mounted designs. Skid-mounted equipment generally consists of a base, the actual equipment, electrical instruments, as well as pipelines and valves, forming a small unit; all that is required from the outside is connection through inlet and outlet pipelines.
There are many skid-mounted projects for natural gas projects in China, which can serve as a reference. Additionally, there are numerous skid-mounted chemical processing units abroad, while such units are rare in China; however, their use is likely to increase in the future.
