As a novice in pressure vessel design, in order to gain more knowledge and avoid wasting time watching dramas, I joined Haichuan to learn from the senior colleagues there. I used to rarely visit forums and was very confused; I need a guide! Thank you!
I’ll teach you a method: by working hard to answer others’ questions, you’ll gradually get better at it. Look at the number of posts I’ve made; once you surpass that number, it will mean you’ve made progress.
My understanding is that two factors are important: one is you yourself, and the other is the platform (that is, the company you work for). If your PeniMax isn’t good enough, no matter how hard you try it’s pointless – you won’t see much improvement; the limitations of the device prevent progress. If your company is a leader in an industry such as pressure vessels – whether it’s a manufacturing firm or an engineering company – but your skills are average, you’ll face great pressure and need to work even harder. If you become highly skilled and the platform is inadequate or hinders your progress, you should switch to another platform. This is called humans borrowing the power of horses, and horses borrowing human effort. So, two factors are important: the question is whether you should look for a platform first, or master the skills first, or do both. It’s better to master the basics first before switching platforms.
