How should the foundation be prepared before installing the equipment? How should the foundation be designed? For example, in foundation pit excavation: how deep should it be dug, how is the bearing stratum determined, and what is the relationship with the groundwater level? How to read and use geological exploration reports? Let’s not even talk about asking a design institute; that’s not realistic. Our factory has new projects every year, every month, and even every day, and we are constantly carrying out technical upgrades. There are occasional equipment installations here and there, so we have to design things on our own.
This is a specialized field; the foundation design must be carried out by civil engineering professionals, and construction cannot be carried out arbitrarily.
If you don’t want to hire a design firm, just refer to the initial civil engineering design. Did your factory not have any basic design from the start?
