I would like to ask everyone: under what circumstances are requirements regarding grain size and non-metallic inclusions specified for forgings? Are there any standards that set these requirements clearly?

Thank you for your reply. I had read those two posts before, and it seemed that the responses didn’t address the key points. For example, some drawings specify that the grain size should be at least grade 6, as well as the level of non-metallic inclusions in the forgings, while other drawings don’t include such requirements. Under what circumstances are it necessary to specify the grain size and non-metallic inclusions in forgings in the drawings?
