I would like to ask everyone: for the one shown in the image, which has a flanged structure with a cover on top, the applicable standard is NB/T47023-2012 for pressure vessel flanges. If it is changed to the other design with a flange cover, should the same pressure vessel flange standard be applied, or should GN/T20592-2009 for steel pipe flanges be used instead? If the pressure vessel flange standard is applied, are there any calculations that need to be done? The dimension is 600 MM
Note that according to HG/T20592, container flanges designed with flat covers are non-standard flanges that require calculation; they cannot be considered equivalent to those specified in HG/T20592, as their outer diameter and other dimensions differ significantly.
The flange shall comply with the standards for pressure vessel flanges NB/T47023-2012. Additionally, a flange cover corresponding to the flange shall be designed, and a calculation document for this flange cover is required.

Flanges can be directly selected as standard flanges in accordance with NB/T47023, while the flange covers are calculated based on GB150.3.
If the flange follows pipe flange standards, it is necessary to perform calculations on the flange and its cover, and produce drawings for these components. If the flange uses standard equipment flanges, then only the flange cover needs to be calculated, with drawings for that component being produced.
The flanges should be selected in accordance with the equipment flange standard NB/T47023; the flange covers need to be calculated as flat covers with openings, and a calculation report must be prepared.
Either is fine; container flanges are slightly lighter in weight than pipe flanges. If I were to design it, I would go by the container flange design. Additionally, the dimensions of the pipe flange connections differ from those of the container flanges as well. If a pipe with an inner diameter of 600 is used, it is best to use a container flange. Choosing pipe flanges also becomes non-standard. For a takeover diameter of φ630, pipe flanges are the preferred choice. It should be designed based on the actual situation.
