The material is approximately 50% phosphoric acid. The storage tanks used are either glass-lined tanks or PP tanks. Since the material tends to crystallize in winter, it is necessary to insulate these tanks. Currently, electric heating is being considered as a heat source along with insulation, but it is not clear whether electric heating will have an impact on glass-lined and PP materials, potentially affecting the lifespan of the tanks.
Enameled steel tanks are fine; PP tanks can affect their service life. It is recommended to raise the storage temperature of PP tanks in winter, provide insulation, or replace them withenameled steel tanks equipped with jackets for steam heating.
The existing glass-lined tanks also lack jackets, so it is planned to wrap them with electric heating
