Jet fuel storage tanks are required to have a conical bottom, with the wall slope leading from the periphery toward the center of the bottom at a gradient of 1:50; no solid steel plate should be placed at the center of the bottom. I need a photo of the tank bottom or a layout diagram of the tank bottom for an already built tank. Previously, the bottom of the tank was slightly higher in the middle and lower around the edges, which was the opposite of the case with jet fuel storage tanks. It is said online that the bottom of such jet fuel storage tanks experiences greater stress in the middle compared to the areas around the edges; are there any special requirements regarding the bottom of jet fuel storage tanks?
