Installation location of the pressure gauge on pressure vessels

For gas pressure vessels, it’s not easy to read the pressure gauge when it is installed at the top; it is easier to read when it is placed on the side, but that setup seems awkward. Are there any standard requirements regarding the installation location of such pressure gauges?
1. The ones I encountered had installations on both the cylinder body and the upper head. 2. It should be placed in a location where it is easy to observe.
It is generally required to be at the top; if it is not easy to observe, installation on the side is also acceptable (especially for containers holding gases)
For gas media, the pressure is the same at every point; for liquid media, it is best to install it in the gas phase space.
Gas storage tanks have no special requirements regarding their installation location
