Our company’s fuel coal silo is constructed of pure reinforced concrete. Due to the relatively small angle of its lower cone section, coal clogging has been a persistent problem. We are now planning to carry out modifications inside the silo by adding steel plates in order to increase the angle of that lower cone section. I would like to ask those who have experience in such modifications, as well as any manufacturers that specialize in this kind of work, for their help. Thank you!
Where is the OP? Aren’t all coal-fired plants supposed to be phased out now?

It has already been scraped early on, and projects for ultra-low emissions and the like are under construction!
The raw coal silos come with standard design manuals; generally, they are perpendicular to the horizontal direction on the inner wall near the furnace, while on the other side, the angle with the horizontal direction must be at least 60°
