I recently encountered a strange incident: a nitrogen storage tank at 0.80 MPa suffered from brittle fracture. See the simplified flowchart for details. I would like to ask the experts under what circumstances a vaporizer fails, allowing liquid nitrogen to enter the gas storage tank and resulting in the rupture of that nitrogen storage tank. How can we determine that it was liquid nitrogen that entered the storage tank? For example, if liquid nitrogen bypasses the vaporizer and pressure reducer, it will rapidly vaporize as it passes through uninsulated pipes, causing the pressure in those pipes to rise sharply. The vaporization of liquid nitrogen absorbs a large amount of heat, which leads to severe icing on the outer walls of the pipes. Has this kind of issue occurred in your system?

Could it be that the ferrite content in the welds or heads of the nitrogen tank is too high?
