It seems like the equipment engineering field is almost becoming a universal one

It seems that nowadays, any complex issues at the workplace are left to be resolved by the equipment specialists. Civil engineering tasks are difficult to carry out, process layouts are hard to design, and instrumentation is tough to install – everything has to be dealt with by the equipment specialists. The corrosion resistance of pipeline materials, the custom-made supports for pipelines, and even steel structures all require calculations on our part. Everything that other departments consider difficult is thrown onto the equipment department to handle, regardless of whether it’s possible to accomplish such tasks or not. After all, once a task is assigned to you, you have to carry it out; in the eyes of the management, the equipment department is considered dispensable. I find the work in the equipment field at small and medium-sized design firms to be extremely difficult. I’ve been working in this field for over a decade; perhaps I’m just not able to keep up with the constant changes. I’m really considering changing my specialty or leaving the design industry altogether.
The same is true for the equipment specialty in the compound.

After working for so many years, it’s time to take on a leadership role!
Can a leader who holds all the power really let us do our job properly? After all, he doesn’t sign anything; he just gives orders, telling us what to do this or that, without taking any responsibility himself
I think the institution is pretty good. Over the years I’ve worked there as well as in provincial institutions, and it has improved a lot – the range of specialties available is relatively comprehensive, and the technical skills of the staff are high; it’s generally possible to find qualified professionals for the various tasks. The provincial hospital is different; it seems like the work there is very varied – one does a bit of everything but doesn’t delve deep into any particular area
Those who are capable should do more, and those who are honest should also work harder; anyway, no matter how much effort you put in, you don’t get much in return
