Regarding fiberglass storage tanks

Our factory has 4 fiberglass chloride acid storage tanks. In the past, acid gas would leak from certain areas on the top of these tanks during summer. After the repairs were carried out, the methods used by the repair workers differed from those specified in the contract, and there are bulging areas in some parts of the tanks. Will this have an impact on their future service life?
Construction must be carried out in accordance with technical requirements and the contract; it is advisable to have construction specifications and standards as a basis for quality inspection of the work
The presence of bulges indicates poor quality of the repair, which will affect its long-term service life. Moreover, the resin used must also meet the requirements.

Are there any relevant standards or construction specifications for fiberglass storage tanks?
There is a high risk; it is recommended to replace the storage tank with glass-lined material. Some of our customers replace them in this way.
