In GB50160-2008, item (1) 7.3.1 states that sewage containing flammable liquids and heavily polluted rainwater should be discharged into the production sewage pipelines; however, the condensate of flammable gases and the following types of water shall not be discharged directly into such pipelines. What exactly is meant by the condensate of flammable gases here? For example, can the wastewater generated after dehydrating the spherical tanks in the liquefied hydrocarbon tank farm be directly discharged into the production wastewater pipeline? (2) The drainage outlets of the second-type process units, tank groups, or other facilities, as well as buildings, structures, and pipe trenches specified in 7.3.3, shall be equipped with water seals. Does this item include water discharged from the rainwater drains in the tank area? Is it necessary to install a water seal well outside the firewall for the rainwater discharged from the tank area?
(1) The wastewater generated after dehydrating the spherical tanks in the liquefied hydrocarbon tank farm cannot be directly discharged into the production wastewater pipeline. (2) A water seal well needs to be installed outside the firewall for the rainwater pipes in the tank area. (Do you still distinguish between sewage and rainwater at the drainage outlets of your tank area?) It would be great to have one outlet and one water seal well before separating rainwater from sewage! ）
