Is the oil cooler in the compressor oil station considered a pressure vessel?
It falls under pressure vessels, but is not within the scope of regulation by the Fixed Vessel Regulations
Generally, it belongs to that category; it depends on the type and size. The simplest way is to check the label – the category indicated there is the one it belongs to.
It belongs to a pressure vessel; whether it is subject to regulation depends on the nameplate.
Check the nameplate against the catalog of special equipment; if you can’t do that, look for a TS stamp or CS on the nameplate – these are usually present. If you really don’t know how to do it, send it over.
