The nitrogen storage tank has a design pressure of 2.85 MPa, and the manhole has a diameter of DN600. What are the specific technical requirements for the M42 studs on this manhole?

HG/T20613 specifies that magnetic particle testing shall be conducted on each pipe when PN is greater than 100
The flange pressure rating of your equipment might not reach PN100; but can’t you still follow the lower standard required? Moreover, studs above M36 are primary compression members.
Is it necessary to conduct hardness testing on nuts? Overall heat treatment of this device

For the main stressed components, higher material specification requirements are applied at the time of inspection
TSG21-2016 8.3.10 After cleaning each one individually, inspect for damage and cracks; those with circumferential cracks are considered unqualified, and non-destructive testing may be conducted if necessary. Generally, anything that’s not good gets replaced.

This is the requirement at the time of manufacture; surface treatment is not mandatory after it is put into use.
