May I ask whether a sac-type floor-mounted expansion tank is considered a pressure vessel? Is regular inspection required?
It belongs to a pressure vessel; whether regular inspections are required depends on whether the vessel category is indicated in the drawings. Classified items must be inspected regularly.
1. The pressure must reach 0.10 MPa. 2. The volume must reach 0.3 m3. 3. The medium must be a liquefied gas or a liquid with a boiling point above the standard value. All of the above conditions must be met simultaneously; if even one is not satisfied, it does not count. Pressure, temperature, and medium are all parameters that come into play during actual use; you can’t find out these from the documentation.
There is also one with a diameter of 150 mm, in accordance with the special equipment catalog!
