Regarding the design of lifting lugs and lids, design institutes, manufacturers, and installation units shift responsibility to one another; are there any relevant regulations specifying who is responsible for the design?
There are few people who actually get things done these days; there are too many who just talk nonsense.
Regarding the design of lifting lugs and lids, the common approach is as follows: the installation party puts forward ideas or a preliminary lifting plan, the manufacturing factory carries out the design, and the design institute reviews it.
I checked the standards SH/T3074-2018, SH/T3098-2011, SH/T3515-2017, and NB T 47041-2014; they contain relevant regulations. In general: 1. The lifting lugs for large-scale equipment are designed by the lifting company; 2. Those for non-large-scale equipment are designed by the design institute； 3. The manufacturer is responsible for production ； In fact, 15 years ago, it was all designed by design institutes and manufactured by manufacturers ； After the new regulations were introduced, people started arguing with each other; the root cause is that the regulations focus only on the technical aspects and do not take into account the issues that arise during actual implementation ； I completely agree with what was said on floor 3 ；
