Reinforcement rings need to be added to both openings on the cover, but the two reinforcement rings overlap – is that acceptable? Otherwise, what other good methods are there? Thank you!
For those with a heat-affected zone, consider using combined reinforcement calculations, and replace the reinforcement rings with thick-walled pipes or forged pipes
Since the reinforcement areas overlap, the combined reinforcement method is used to calculate the required reinforcement area.
Consider overall reinforcement! Or adjust the circumferential orientation!
If the distance between the two holes is not within the range that allows for combined reinforcement, and only the outer edges of the reinforcement rings overlap, it is possible to reduce the outer diameter of the reinforcement rings during calculations (so as to ensure that the two reinforcement rings do not interfere; this applies to non-standard reinforcement rings), or reinforcement using thick-walled pipes can be employed.
Check whether it meets the post-joining reinforcement requirements; if so, carry out post-joining reinforcement.
