The design diameter of the water seal tank is 1.4m, and its height is 1.8m. I originally designed the leg-type support according to nbt47065.2-2018. Four 140 steel pipes are used for the legs. The leader said to make a square with a height of 300, and it’s sufficient to have two channel steels in the middle. I think for the four corners, the top part should be a square, and the two middle rows should use channel steel. The new standard specifies the use of 140-mm round steel for leg supports. I’m not sure if I can use No. 10 channel steel for this purpose. Thank you all. What size of channel steel should be used for the supports of the 1.4*1.8 water seal tank?
Definitely not; you need to calculate the cross-sectional area of the metal, and it should be roughly equivalent
