As the title suggests, GB151 only states that expansion welding is used in cases of vibration or cyclic loading； In cases where there is a tendency to gap corrosion or where composite tube sheets are used, I would like to ask about the advantages and disadvantages of each of strength welding plus gasket expansion, and strength expansion plus seal welding. What are the differences in their applications? From an economic perspective, our company generally uses strength welding plus expansion bonding; P
Seal welding – does not guarantee strength, only prevents leakage； Strength welding – prevents leaks while ensuring tensile strength ； Adhesive expansion – only eliminates gaps, without bearing pulling forces ； Strength expansion – eliminates gaps while meeting the strength requirements of expansion joining.
