Why are the heat-tracing pipes made in multiple arcs? Is it to counteract the changes in pipe length caused by thermal expansion and contraction?
Yes, there are also those that span the flange.
Is this a heat tracing tube with several arcs in a row? The image isn’t very clear
upstairs only replied “Yes”, but why exactly?
It’s insulated on the outside, so it’s not possible to see the internal structure; it’s really hard to draw any conclusions.
This post was last edited by Gangda Trade on 2019-10-23 at 09:26. It’s possible that this happens, but it’s unclear why these arcs appear consecutively along the same section of pipe. Normally, due to thermal expansion and contraction, shouldn’t they appear in segments?
