In the construction of engineering projects, what are the risks associated with using air pressure for testing equipment and pipelines? Where exactly do the dangers of air pressure testing lie? Is there a mandatory limit of 0.6 MPa?

Which clause of TSG D0001-2009 specifies the mandatory limit of 0.6MPa?
There are no restrictions. According to GB20801, it is still necessary to refer to the design specifications and the pipeline data sheet (a list of pipeline characteristics) to determine the hazard level of the medium, in order to decide whether gas pressure testing is required. Generally, gas pressure testing can be carried out during the system pressure test before starting up the equipment. For details, see gb/t20801.5-2006

There is one in 50235, but it doesn’t seem to be mandatory; a value above 0.6 MPa carries a relatively high risk.
The owner has agreed, or relevant provisions allow for a pressure test at above 0.6 MPa.
Due to the high compression ratio of gases and the significant pressure changes associated with temperature variations, the hydraulic energy storage capacity for the same volume is much lower than that of gases. In the event of a pipeline leak or rupture, this can cause considerable damage; therefore, hydraulic testing should be used as much as possible
If a hydraulic test is possible, pneumatic testing is generally not used. If a hydraulic test is possible, a pneumatic test can be carried out as well; generally, a hydraulic test should be done first, and only after it is successful should a pneumatic test be conducted
