The examples are as follows: the head size ranges from EHA3200 to 5100 mm, the thickness ranges from t10 to t50 mm, and the material is SA-31803. Consult the outsourcing supplier regarding the thinning rate; don’t worry, there’s nothing special about duplex steel either. Larger end cap factories have no problem

Later, all our suppliers replied that they couldn’t meet it, and I’ve never seen such a request again. I was wondering: this is a requirement for the S31803 material, so can it fail to meet this requirement just by being molded?
In fact, our duplex steels are all hot-pressed, and after shaping they undergo solution heat treatment, and are even left to stand for a month. It still fails.
It is recommended to use cold forming for thin sheet materials of duplex steel, as the hardness and ferrite content after hot forming followed by solution treatment cannot be guaranteed with reliability.
